Teachers in Holyoke are being blocked at every turn in their effort to secure a fair contract.

Most recently, the School Committee — chaired by Mayor Joshua A. Garcia — has drawn the frustration of the Holyoke Teachers Association (HTA) and many parents for its delays and inaction at the bargaining table.
