LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The State of Michigan has announced the first two rounds of grants through the Clean Fuel and Charging Infrastructure Program.

The grants finalize several investment projects aimed at expanding EV charging station access.

Two of the projects are in Lansing. The grants focus on multi-family housing where residents wouldn’t normally have access to charging stations.

One charging station will be installed at Hunter’s College Towne Properties, the other at he nearby College Townsquare Apartments and Townhomes.

Two more rounds of grants are expected to be announced soon.
