CASTLE SHANNON, Pa. —
Emergency repairs are underway along a busy road in Allegheny County.
The Castle Shannon Police Department said Tuesday that Columbia Gas crews started to conduct emergency repair work in the 4000 block of Library Road (Route 88) around 4 p.m. Advertisement

Officials said work is likely to continue until midnight.
Due to the repairs, officials said the northbound lane from Spring Street to McCully Road will be closed, and there will be alternating one lane of travel.
Officials did not provide further details on the closure.
"Please use caution and avoid the area if possible," the department said. "Heavy delays are expected."
