OREGON, Wis. -- A child in Oregon suffered minor injuries after they were struck by a bus on Monday afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to the intersection of S. Perry Parkway and Union Road just after 4:15 p.m. where an investigation determined that the child was crossing the street in an uncontrolled intersection when a bus, turning at a slow speed hit the child. The child was treated on scene by EMS and was reunited with a parent.
Police said the bus driver was cited for failure to yield right of way at an uncontrolled intersection, and was cooperative throughout the entire investigation.
