Nancy Campos, a resident of Eustis, is receiving overwhelming support from friends and strangers as she recovers from historic flood damage to her home, with volunteers helping her pick up the pieces and crews preparing to start repairs.

"It's the love and support from friends and strangers that's kept her spirits alive as she continues on the road to recovery," Campos said.

Campos is grateful for the generosity of a friend who bought her a new washer and dryer and is letting her stay with them until her home is fixed. She is not paying for any of the drywall work needed due to the flooding.

"They're going to replace these walls for me that they had to cut out due to the flooding," Campos said.
