MARTINSBURG-- Members of the Public Employees Insurance Agency (PEIA) Finance Board arrived in Martinsburg on Monday evening for one of several public hearings across the state focusing on proposed rate increases in the coming year.

While the rate increases are not as high as in recent years, and many of those public employees and retirees who chose to speak thanked the board for their work, it was clear that any increase is too much at this time.
