In their ongoing mission to help those in need, the Chatham Goodfellows recently kicked off their 71st No Child Without A Christmas campaign.

The group helps individuals and families during the holiday season, thanks to the generosity of residents, businesses and volunteers.

Tim Haskell, spokesperson, expects more support will be needed again this season.

“I think with the cost of living and the price of housing, and everything else, it’s just gone out of control,” he said. “We’re thinking it could be a bigger year.”

Online applications for those who have applied in previous years, as well as first-time applications, are being accepted until Dec. 5.
