A Russian foreign minister has mocked the UK for having a "weak" military and nuclear arsenal in a raging attack on the country.
Sergei Lavrov, 75, had disappeared from view "in disgrace" and was reported as being sidelined by Vladimir Putin over a failure to arrange a Budapest summit with Donald Trump. Other whispers suggested Lavrov had been suffering from a secret medical condition.
But he came back today to slam Britain who the Kremlin regards as enemy number one for marshalling Western support behind Ukraine, reports the Mirror .
