Jimmy Thelin has revealed Emir Bajrami was the man responsible for turning rising Aberdeen star Dylan Lobban into a right-back.
Lobban, who has been called up by Scotland Under-21s for their games against Gibraltar and Bulgaria, has made his breakthrough this season.
He enjoyed a debut in the win over Kilmarnock , made his Euro bow in Larnaca and was thrown in for first Pittodrie start against Motherwell on Sunday.
And it was Thelin ’s former assistant Bajrami, who has since returned to Elfsborg, who turned Lobban from a midfielder into a full-back as he came through the Pittodrie youth ranks.
