MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The 115th Fighter Wing of the Wisconsin Air National Guard will be having flight training in the Madison area this week, the Wisconsin Department of Miliary Affairs announced Tuesday.
The training will take place Wednesday, Nov. 12 and Thursday, Nov. 13. More trainings will also be taking place Monday, Nov. 17 through Friday, Nov. 20.
During this time, people may see or hear F-35 aircraft taking off or landing at around 8 p.m.
Most of the trainings take place during the day, but the DMA indicates pilots and maintenance personal are required to have nighttime hours.
The flight paths for the training have been designed to reduce noise to people in the area. Planes may still be seen and heard during this time.
