The West Kelowna Warriors continued their winning ways Friday night with a convincing 4–1 road victory over the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
The Silverbacks opened the scoring early, as Keifer Miller found the back of the net to give Salmon Arm a 1–0 lead. The Warriors responded later in the first period when Ruslan Jamaldinov forced a turnover and set up Ian Alonso, who buried the equalizer. Newcomer Natan Ethier picked up an assist on the play — his first point as a Warrior.
Early in the second period, West Kelowna took control. Noah Garthe gave the Warriors their first lead of the night, banging home a rebound from Max Kelly to make it 2–1. Moments later, Jace Rask extended the lead to 3–1 with a perfect deflection in front of the net.
