Saks Off 5th, the luxury off-price retailer that offers designer and brand-name merchandise at discounted prices, will shutter nine stores nationwide beginning in January 2026, USA Today has reported.

“We are confident this will better position the Saks Off 5th business for long-term success and look forward to continuing to deliver for our customers,” the company said in a statement to the publication.

Well known as the discount arm of Saks Fifth Avenue, the brand was piloted in 1992 under the name of Saks Clearinghouse. The company expanded the off-price concept and renamed the business Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH in 1995.
