Mike Krzyzewski and Jeff Monken have both left their indelible marks on the Army athletics program.

Krzyzewski, 78, played basketball for the Cadets from 1966-69, leading the team to 51 wins, a .689 winning percentage and two National Invitation Tournament appearances. He later coached the team for five seasons, posting three winning seasons and making another NIT appearance. Of course, Coach K gained his most notoriety as head coach of Duke from 1980-2022, winning five national championships and amassing 1,202 overall victories before his retirement as a Hall of Fame coach.
