AUBURN — Last season, an intense nonconference schedule helped Auburn basketball prepare for an eventual SEC championship and run to the Final Four. This season, it built out a similar roadmap, but as of now, the latest team on the Plains isn't akin to last year's.
It lacks the same size and experience, and it's soon to enter a gauntlet, playing four top-10 teams in a monthlong span, starting with No. 2 Houston on Sunday, Nov. 16.
