TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A large crowd braved the morning chill to line Monroe Street in Tallahassee for the annual Veterans Day Parade.
The event featured local marching bands, organizations and law enforcement all honoring our nation’s heroes.
The parade also boasted veterans, ROTC units and all kinds of floats.
One float featured all-female veterans.
“We do get left behind a lot of times, you know, when you think of veterans, you think of male,” Paula Hubert said. “Us females, we’ve been there, done the same thing. We served, and we were proud to serve. It was an honor. I’d do it again if I could.”
One parade attendee said he wouldn’t miss the opportunity to thank our veterans.
