BLOOMFIELD — Not everyone grew up in front of a screen. Some of us remember when the world moved slower, when information lived in books and conversations, not passwords and pop-ups. But the world changed anyway, and it didn’t wait for everybody to change with it.

The Bloomfield Eastern-Greene County Library is offering a chance to catch up. On Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at 1 p.m., the library will host a free computer basics class, inviting anyone who feels left behind by technology to come learn without judgment or hurry.

The purpose is simple: help people stay connected to a world that has moved online. Job applications, school assignments, doctor appointments, even family — more and more of life lives on a screen now.
