LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Las Vegas honored veterans with one of the largest Veterans Day parades in the county Tuesday, drawing crowds to downtown for the annual celebration.
The parade featured around 150 entries, the most in the parade’s history, according to parade officials.
Vietnam veteran James W. Nicholson traveled from Hawaii with his wife and friends to attend the parade. Nicholson served three tours in Vietnam and recently finished chemotherapy treatment.
“James has finished chemo. And so, we want to make sure with Agent Orange, we spend some quality time appreciating what they’ve done for us,” said James’s wife Louisa.
