The Delhi High Court has forbidden Bukhara Inn, also known as Hotel Bukhara in the national capital, from using the trademark ‘BUKHARA’, which belongs to ITC Limited. The court said the hotel’s use of the name appeared dishonest and misleading.

Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora passed the order after ITC and ITC Hotels filed a case claiming the hotel was copying their famous brand linked to the Bukhara restaurant at New Delhi’s ITC Maurya, Bar and Bench reported.

“The Plaintiffs (ITC) have established a case of grant of an ad-interim injunction in their favour and against the defendant.
