Rain is expected to develop late Wednesday night into early Thursday, with the heaviest precipitation likely along the coast and Coast Range. From Wednesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon, coastal areas have a 50-60% chance of receiving more than an inch of rain, while interior valleys have a 10-20% chance. Winds will strengthen and turn southwesterly, with coastal areas potentially seeing gusts up to 45 mph.
