Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline want their relationship with their mom to be stronger than yesterday.

Kevin Federline shared that his two sons with ex-wife Britney Spears are trying to "mend a bond" with her despite their painful family history.

"They absolutely love their mom, right? I mean, they always, always have, always will," the former professional backup dancer said during the Nov. 10 episode of Talk Shop Live . "It's instilled in them. And I've always wanted for them to have a connection with their mom, the way I have with my mom."

In fact, Kevin believes that writing about Britney's allegedly tumultuous relationship with Jayden, 19, and Sean, 20, in his memoir You Thought You Knew makes that closeness "definitely a possibility."
