The College Football Playoff selection committee moved Miami up to No. 15 in this week’s rankings after putting Miami at No. 18 last week. Miami is the highest-ranked ACC team, and ESPN’s projected bracket put the Hurricanes in the playoffs as the 11 seed. In that projected bracket, the Hurricanes would travel to play No. 6 Texas Tech in the first round of the playoff.
