Liberal parliamentarians are lining up to thrash out their position on a net-zero policy, but the arrival of some was delayed by drama in the skies.
The party is widely expected to water down its commitment to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, but it will likely retain some commitment to reducing carbon pollution if it returns to government.

However, three Liberals from South Australia will be late after their Qantas flight was forced to return to Adelaide due to smoke filling the cabin.
