SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - As high pressure slides east of the ArkLaTex for the second half of the week, our wind will switch to the south signaling a major warming trend.
For tonight, that warming trend will already become very noticeable with overnight lows significantly warmer than recent nights. Most of the region will see temperatures bottom out in the upper 40s to near 50.
Wednesday will be a much warmer day with highs in the mid to upper 70s and few spots approaching 80. Plenty of sunshine can be expected and it should be a gorgeous day to get outside.
The rest of the extended forecast continues to look unseasonably warm for the entire region. Temperatures will climb into the low 80s by Thursday afternoon and then remain in the 80s all the way through the weekend. In addition, humi
