Local political consulting firm BDPC has a map breaking down how New Orleans voted during the early voting period that ended last Sunday.

"The people who vote early are the ones who are really committed to voting," said Rigamer.
Neighborhoods like Lakeview, parts of Gentilly and New Orleans East had the largest number of people head to early voting locations and cast ballots.
The lowest areas, parts of Uptown, the 7th Ward and New Orleans East near Venetian Isles.
Rigamer says there's a reason for that.
"Easier access, for example, on the Lakefront, you have the St. Pius location, you have ample parking, and it's very easy, in contrast - Uptown, there isn't a real easy place to go e
