BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) — Life has a way of making people slow down, but one Warren County woman is proving it’s all in how you handle it.
At 105, Reba Bush now moves at a gentler pace. But not long ago, she was still cleaning her house, living on her own, and driving herself between her daughter’s home in Bowling Green and the Franklin community she’s cherished for decades.
Bush has lived a life that bridges eras, connecting today’s fast-moving world with memories that reach back more than a century. Born in 1920 to Oscar and Fannie Mayhew, both born in the late 1800s, her great-grandparents were alive during the Civil War, linking her life to a time most only read about in history books.
