The "No Excuse Mom" influencer and author Maria Kang is out with a new book called "Sacred Becoming."

Sacred becoming is a memoir and a manual for anyone who has lost themselves while trying to be everything for everyone.

Kang joined KCRA 3 on Tuesday to talk about the new book and advice for anyone battling cancer or dealing with loss.

Her book will become available on Nov. 22 and she's holding a signing event on Dec. 16 from 5-7 p.m. at A Seat at the Table in Elk Grove.
