After 20 years of delivering takeaways , food courier service Menulog has announced it will cease operations in Australia.
The final day to order takeaway through the service will be November 26, the Menulog managing director Morten Belling has confirmed.
Mr Belling said the decision was a strategic move to focus on "accelerating growth" in other markets.
"Today is a tough day for the Menulog business, and I would like to reassure everyone this decision was not taken lightly," he said.
Around 120 employees in Australia are expected to lose their jobs as a result of the shutdown, the company confirmed on November 12.
The company said, "All impacted employees will be fully supported with generous redundancy packages above legal requirements and outplacement support".
