LA MARQUE, Texas – The La Marque Police Department is asking the public to avoid the area around the intersection of Cedar Drive and Kirsten Street as authorities respond to a barricaded suspect.

Police say the incident is connected to a shooting investigation.

A special response team in en route to the scene.
