The Patriots were quiet during the trade deadline and didn’t add to their roster .

A report surfaced that indicated the Tennessee Titans — Mike Vrabel’s former team — might have been unwilling to do business with New England. It also noted that Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk didn’t feel “inclined to help” Vrabel’s new team due to how things ended in Tennessee.

“I haven’t talked to Amy since the day she fired me,” the Vrabel said during his weekly appearance on WEEI . “So her name and my name should not be in the same sentence together because I haven’t talked to her since the day she fired me.”

The Titans fired Vrabel in 2024 after six seasons as their coach. He served as a coaching and personnel assistant for the Cleveland Browns before he was hired by the Patriots in January
