Coming up next week will be 99.9 Y Country radio’s Stuff a Truck food drive at Roger’s Foodland in St. Joseph.

The Y Country team will be at Roger’s each day collecting non-perishable food and hygiene items to be donated to the Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency. The agency’s Kim Smith-Oldham told us last month it’s one of their biggest events of the year.

“ That’s a week long where we’re at Rogers and St. Joe collecting donations of food and money, non -perishable foods,” Smith-Oldham said. “S o that’s what we fill our pantry with.”

They’ll have a truck on site to haul away the items that shoppers donate. So, what items are most needed?
