REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - Police are in a Redwood City neighborhood Tuesday afternoon for what authorities are calling an "active investigation."

Aerial video shows heavy police presence in the 100 block of Hemlock Avenue in Redwood City.

Nearby Linden Street and Madrone Street are affected by road closures, police said.

Police ask that residents stay away from the area, but said there is no "active threat" to the public.
