Boonville nonprofit director accused of stealing money from organization

COOPER COUNTY — The former executive director of a Boonville nonprofit is accused of embezzling funds from the organization.

Jennifer J. Waibel is charged with one count of stealing $25,000 or more in Cooper County.

In a probable cause statement Waibel is accused of using various agency accounts to make personal purchases in 2023. The amount stolen totals just under $50,000.

No court date is currently scheduled.
