The truth is, these horses, Shahan and Latte, have loaded into this trailer countless times.

But looking for leadership, they won’t go forward unless the person on the other end of the rope means it.

This is just one lesson in the “Horsemanship for Heroes” series of classes dedicated to Veterans who are looking for a different way to think or feel.

The horses are the teachers. They can’t speak or tell the students what to do. But they do react in the most subtle of ways, forcing the Veteran to be in the moment and check themselves.
