EUGENE Ore. (KPTV) - The Oregon Ducks moved up one spot from the initial College Football Playoff (CFP) rankings last week, as the latest hierarchy was revealed Tuesday on ESPN.
The No. 8 Ducks made the jump following a gritty road victory over Iowa this weekend.
Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, Alabama, and Georgia remained the top five teams, respectively, in the second round of rankings - with three weeks remaining in the regular season.
No. 6 Texas Tech moved up two sports, while No. 7 Ole Miss moved down a spot - despite a 49-0 victory over The Citadel on Saturday. Notre Dame and Texas rounded out the top ten.
Along with Ohio State, Indiana, and Oregon, the Big Ten Conference was also represented by No. 17 USC, No. 18 Michigan, and No. 21 Iowa - while Washington dropped from the
