Edible Garden AG Incorporated says it will begin shipping its USDA organic herbs to The Fresh Market , expanding the availability of sustainably grown herbs to specialty grocery stores across the country.

The Belvidere-based company specializes in controlled- environment agriculture and locally grown organic produce.

Edible Garden is already offered at ShopRite, Target, Stop and Shop, Foodtown and Walmart stores in New Jersey.

Fresh Market stores are located in Bedminster and Montvale.

The partnership brings together two companies focused on quality and sustainable sourcing, according to Jim Kras, chief executive officer of Edible Garden.
