ROCHESTER, Minn. — The Rochester Sports Foundation has appointed Marshall Behrens as its new Director, taking over from Ed Hruska, who will retire at the end of 2025.

Behrens, a familiar face in Rochester athletics, has been a sports official for over 25 years, covering football, basketball, baseball, and softball at high-school and collegiate levels. He has also been involved with the Board of Rochester Sports since 2015, serving as treasurer and 2024 Board president.

"Ed has left an incredible legacy, and I know I have big shoes to fill," Behrens said. He aims to build on the foundation laid by Hruska and explore innovative ways to support Rochester’s sports facilities and events.
