KEALIA (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Kauai Ocean Safety Bureau is advising no swimming or other ocean activities at Kealia Beach due to a shark sighting.
Officials said an 8-foot tiger shark was spotted at around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
No one was hurt.
Signs were posted and officials will continue monitoring the area.
If there are no further shark sightings, the beach will reopen Wednesday at 3 p.m.
