The bitter division among Coalition ranks over a two-word policy known simply as net zero is about to hit boiling point.
And it could result in a staggering reshuffle within the Liberals and Nationals under Opposition Leader Sussan Ley.
The controversial concept of net zero has been rapidly evolving since climate scientists first coined the term in the early 2000s.
