TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Despite the Senate passing a preliminary agreement to end the government shutdown, thousands of flights across the country continue to see disruptions, including at Tucson International Airport.
Tucson International Airport saw fewer delays and cancellations on Tuesday than on Monday, but travelers still experienced more changes than on an average day.
Lee Phouktam, who traveled from San Francisco to Tucson for work, arrived nearly two hours behind schedule.
“I didn’t travel yesterday because it was gonna be bad, so I traveled today. I think it’s gonna get worse and worse,” Phouktam said.
The delays affected his work commitments.
