Western Michigan paid tribute to Marshawn Kneeland on Tuesday night, days after the former Broncos star's death.
Western Michigan players wore brown-and-gold "MK" decals on their helmets, and the field at Waldo Stadium in Kalamazoo featured Kneeland's No. 99 painted on the 1-yard line on both ends of the field. There was a video tribute prior to the captains' coin toss, and for the coin toss, Broncos captains brought Kneeland's Broncos and Dallas Cowboys helmets and his WMU jersey to midfield. On social media, WMU football said: "Playing for you Marshawn."
