In the blistering cold in Denver, it looked like Radnor had a step ahead on Lower Dauphin on Tuesday night.

Still, the Falcons girls soccer team, with eight minutes left in the contest, had a chance to find the back of the net to advance to the 3A state title game.

Alisa Gilmour had other plans. The Raptors’ sophomore capped off a dominant showing from the District 1 squad, firing a floater to the back-left corner of the net to give Radnor a 1-0 lead and send her team to Saturday’s district title game.

Keira Mucksavage also had a very strong game for Radnor, consistently playing clean passes and making Falcon defenders miss.
