Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 24 Westbound near mile marker 183, TDOT says. The crash was reported around 8:06pm on Tuesday, causing a traffic backup.

According to TDOT, the two left lanes and the left shoulder were blocked, but have now reopened as of 9:40pm.

There is no word yet on injuries.
