DAYTON — The University of Toledo men’s basketball team recovered from a halftime deficit to take down Wright State 81-71 on the road Tuesday to earn its first win of the season.

After falling behind 39-34 at the break, the Rockets opened the second half on a 10-0 run to take the lead and never trailed the rest of the game, leading by as many as 16 in the late going.

Northview graduate Sean Craig nearly had a double-double in the win, finishing with a game-high 21 points and nine rebounds.

Sonny Wilson finished with 17 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, Kyler Vanderjagt notched 15 points and five rebounds, and Austin Parks netted 14 points on 6 of 7 shooting from the field.
