HELENA, Ohio — A crash involving a commercial vehicle has closed both northbound and southbound lanes on U.S. 23, the Sandusky County post of the Ohio State Patrol reported.

The patrol reported the crash at 9:05 p.m. saying it occurred on U.S. 23 just north of U.S. 6 in Madison Township. At least two vehicles are involved.

Ohio Department of Transportation officials are setting up a detour, the patrol said, and it’s not known when the roads will reopen.
