Bengaluru-based electric two wheeler maker Ather Energy expects its non-vehicle revenue share to rise beyond 12% over the next year, supported by strong software and accessory sales, according to Tarun Mehta, Co-founder and CEO.
“This was a fantastic quarter for us,” Mehta said, reporting that revenue rose 60–65% over the previous quarter, while losses narrowed. He added that gross margins improved despite a one-time impact from the rare earth crisis, which affected revenue by about ₹19.2 crore and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) by around ₹25 crore. “The crisis is behind us in Q3 as we speak,” he said.
