ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The Menard Eagles are back in the State Playoffs and are set to host the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars on Nov. 14.
“Well, that’s always the beauty of the playoffs, usually you’re gonna play someone you’ve never played before or someone you rarely play,” Menard Football head coach David Perkins said on the matchup. “We’ve never played Thomas Jefferson before in the football playoffs; we have played them in other sports. So, it’s a unique situation.”
The Eagles finished the regular season 6-4, including a win to close the season against Port Barre without starting quarterback Jake Vaughan, to earn the home playoff game.
