CHEYENNE – On Sunday, the Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board, in partnership with the Alliance for Historic Wyoming and Historic Cheyenne Inc., will host an open-house style "Unbarred Tour" of the Historic Cheyenne Pumphouse.
The event will start at 10 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. "Unbarred" tours allow the public to visit historic sites that are not normally open for visitation, and are a unique opportunity to experience iconic pieces of history up close and in person.
Attendees are required to wear closed-toed shoes and sign a liability waiver before entering the property. Bring your own flashlight, as some of the spaces are dimly lit. Parking is not available on site, but can be easily accessed at Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
