To the world, Jon Bon Jovi is a rock star. To his four kids — Stephanie, Jesse, Jake and Romeo — he's just dad.

On the June 2025 episode of "Sunday Sitdown with Willie Geist," Bon Jovi, whose real name is John Francis Bongiovi Jr., talked about his new song "Kiss The Bride" which is featured in his album "Forever."

He noted that the track was inspired by his daughter, Stephanie, who is engaged to be married.

“It’s been my life’s journey, these records,” he said.

Bon Jovi then recited some lyrics from "Kiss the Bride" and said this song relates to his life because he's been grappling with the feeling of letting his daughter go.
