TORRINGTON, Conn. — A woman was hospitalized after Torrington police said she was stabbed multiple times in a domestic violence-related incident Tuesday.
Officers responded at 12:47 p.m. to an address on Aetna Avenue after receiving a report about a person who was stabbed.
Arriving officers found a woman suffering from multiple non-life-threatening stab wounds. Police said officers and Trinity Ambulance medics treated her at the scene before she was taken to St. Mary's Hospital.
Police said no arrests have been made yet and that the investigation is ongoing. They noted that there is no threat to the public.
