GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Florida Senator Rick Scott is asking several of the country’s largest pharmacies to address how they deal with possible threats to drug supplies.

In a letter sent to CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart, Scott cites recent Food and Drug Administration reports over drugs imported from China and India not meeting safety standards.

Scott is asking how the companies address these issues, along with information about quality insurance and transparency with customers.
